loved the area, nice walk around the country park. room was big and comfy. staff were mostly fine, especially gary who was super helpful. breakfast was tasty and hot. location is ideal for visiting the theme park, only 2 mins away.

had issues with noise from motorbikes in car park late at night, and 3 course meal included was a lil disappointing.

Just a top selection for resting at all in Bothwell with all in all brilliant value for money. The food was delicious, especially the Lamb Shank, which just fell apart. Consider checking in during the week for lower rates.

Exceptional service and spacious rooms.

we have been going to the alona hotel for years and the staff are just so friendly and welcoming. gary at reception always makes us feel at home. the breakfast is amazin and really fills us up for the day. the views from the hotel are just stunning and it's great to be near strathclyde loch for chill walks.

the rooms can get a bit warm with no ac, and some furniture could use a little upgrade. also, the food could be better, some dishes were just okay.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant, where Michelle's attentive service stood out. Our family room was spacious, though I wished for brighter lighting. The food was delightful, especially the scallops. Pro tip, ask for a room with better illumination if you're picky about lighting!

We enjoyed beautiful winter walks near the loch, taking in the stunning surroundings. A memorable highlight was the staff's kindness, offering our kids Easter eggs during breakfast. The location was perfect for our family getaway, close to local attractions.

The location is fine, we could unwind in our room or stroll through the park nearby. The staff were cute, even giving us a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival, that made us feel special.

I really liked the location at the Alona, right next to Strathclyde Park. It was perfect for some lovely walks. My room, the Superior Double Room, was spacious, clean, and modern, which made it nice to relax in. The staff were friendly, especially Gary at the front desk, who was super helpful during check-in. I enjoyed the Full Scottish breakfast even though it was a bit cold. One major downside was the lack of proper heating. it felt chilly at times, and some furniture showed wear. The sound from events could be loud, which disrupted my quiet time.

The room had a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Walk-in shower was great too. I enjoyed breakfast with fresh pastries and organic juices. The staff were super nice and even helped with local tips. The hotel is just a quick walk to M&D's Theme Park, very handy for families.

This hotel suits me perfectly with great amenities like free parking, wi-fi, and a lovely restaurant. I appreciated how the staff helped me print my boarding pass on my first visit. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.
