The location here is great, close to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, just a 35-minute drive to the airport, and our superior double room had nice amenities like a trouser press and an iron.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, but everything was very good. We lived in the superior twin room with comfortable beds, a balcony, for example. Nice restaurant served vegetarian specialities.

The breakfast spread featured fresh orange juice, giving it a zesty touch. This venue is conveniently situated at the heart of everything. Plus, it's just a 30-minute drive to Glasgow airport, making travel a breeze! ✈️

My stay was enjoyable, appreciated family vibes!
I booked a family room with an electric kettle, a personal safe and a sofa bed. A bathtub in the bathroom was a plus.

Liked the service in the restuarant and the bar. Food was acceptable if not gourmet standard.Breakfast was fine but we asked for two Americanos and were charged £9.45.Not a hotel to visit in hot weather .There is no air conditioning and the room we were in was stifling. We opened a window but the noise prevented us from sleeping as there was an 'Event' taking place in the Marquee opposite the side of the hotel where our room was.

Great Location opposite lake, great for a run.
Shower area looked a little tatty, mouldy sealant around floor area and water covered whole of floor after shower. Need to be able to switch the orange night light off at night without taking the door key out in the room.

It was comfortable and the second meal I had was excellent. Reception was very attentive and welcoming
WI-FI was advertised free which drew me to book at Alona but it was not reliable, it went on and off in the room so we had to go downstairs if we wanted constant reception. Sofa bed was not made up, stains on the duvet, grease on the menu. had to send my daughter downstairs for covers and we had to make the sofa bed ourselves including putting duve in the duvet cover.

Comfort and relability of hotel and staff
Room near large car park with "boy racers" screeching tyres until midnight outside.
